AT WATER’S EDGE

This is a photographic project that has developed over time and I continue to add to when opportunities arise. It’s a study of the patterns, colours and shapes that occur in the shallow depths where water meets land. Studies of details which are transient, those that are formed outside of human control and those that frequently go unseen.

I’ve often thought that I should allocate more time to this project and get on and finish it. In truth though I want it to be a slow-burner. I want it to be a diverse collection of images that is made possible by the passage of time and a variety of locations and techniques. One day I’ll make a book out this project. I hope it will lovely reminder of the places I’ve visited and some of the smaller details of the landscape that don’t always stay in the memory.

This gallery shows just a few of the images I have created so far.
